As global automakers such as Porsche put the finishing touches to their show cars in the run-up to the Shanghai Motor Show on April 20th, sister publication Interior Motives is doing the same with its exciting line-up of speakers as it prepares to host the second Interior Motives China design conference in the city the following day. Some Chevrolet dealers are turning down Volt EVs that General Motors wants to ship to them, a potential stumbling block as GM looks to accelerate sales of the plug-in hybrid. For example, consider the New York City market. Last month, GM allocated 104 Volts to 14 dealerships in the area, according to a person familiar with the matter.
SUPERMARKETS are slashing fuel prices again. In the latest round of cuts, Sainsbury's is reducing its petrol by up to 6p a litre and its diesel by up to 4p a litre.
